Let Devotion Become Someone’s Meal This Sawan
Where Faith Meets an Empty Plate
During the sacred month of Sawan, Shiv Ananta Foundation will organise Annadan Seva in Haridwar for needy sadhu-sants and elderly people living near ghats, temples and roadsides. Many of them depend on devotees and passers-by for even one proper meal.
Through this campaign, we aim to serve fresh, hygienic and filling food such as puri-sabzi, dal-rice, khichdi and clean drinking water. Every meal will be offered respectfully, without compromising anyone’s dignity.
In the Holy Month of Mahadev
Sawan is a time of devotion, prayer and service to Lord Shiva. Thousands visit Haridwar to seek blessings, offer prayers and experience the spiritual atmosphere of the holy city.
But devotion becomes more meaningful when it also brings relief to someone facing hunger. That is why this Annadan Seva will be conducted during Sawan—so that faith does not remain limited to rituals but reaches a hungry person in the form of food.
